Grantek Systems Integration Director, Sales (Life Science) in Boston, Massachusetts

Grantek is a leading engineering company that provides automation solutions to our clients in separate industry verticals. We are seeking a visionary and dynamic leader who will lead the strategic direction of our life sciences portfolio, by managing New Business Development Managers to grow client portfolio and build lasting customer relationships; focusing on the opportunities of new business development and existing portfolio growth via sales strategy. Essential Duties: * Own and maintain the industry vertical sales strategy playbook for every solution, program and service delivered by Grantek. * Develop business relationships with targeted clients, influencers, and partners * Manage value selling and deliver value according to budgeted amount. * Be responsible for pricing for all proposals for clients in the assigned portfolio. * Create and Implement Strategies for new and existing clients * Maintain awareness and knowledge of competition; proactively assess related SWOT * Build and maintain a team of knowledgeable, skilled teammates * Manage, mentor, and grow New Business Development and Growth Managers. * Review progress versus Budget and Objectives; be on top of understanding Actuals vs Targets vs Forecasts. * Participate in workforce planning activities with Delivery and Engineering cross-functionality to ensure maximized utilization and profitability * Be proactive by analyzing industry trends impacting our business and devise sales strategies and plan for future technologies accordingly. * Observe and participate in regular communications with key stakeholders and partner(s) * Identify areas of opportunity and investment with the partner(s) to help both parties create additional business value. * Establish and maintain effective business relationships with key decision makers. * Stay abreast with life science industry and market/business trends by active participation on different learning platforms. * Conduct industry research and market analysis; analyze industry trends impacting our services/products. * Advanced knowledge and skills in business practices and standards * Engineering or Business degree in related discipline, or equivalent accreditation or demonstrated experience * Leadership and management experience * 8+ years' experience successfully leading and managing teams of Business Development Managers and engineers , in North America, OR 10+ years' experience successfully leading and managing teams in an operational / technology leadership role in a manufacturing environment in North America; We are committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to provide Grantekians with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment. #JoinGrantek
