Eliot Community Human Services Director Of CSPECH Programming - Boston in Boston, Massachusetts

Eliot’s Homeless Services Division is seeking a creative/strengths-based/trauma informed Senior Level Director to oversee CSPECH Stabilization Services for newly housed individuals from Mass & Cass and surrounding areas of the City of Boston. This role will oversee a robust and transformational multidisciplinary continuum of support provided alongside of case management to collaboratively address identified service needs and treatment preferences.

The successful candidate will have unwavering empathy, as well as an open mind in terms of pathways to recovery/harm reduction when collaboratively working with people experiencing homelessness, medical complexity, and/or untreated behavioral health concerns (e.g. PTSD). The Director will provide general oversight and supportive leadership to the Team and will carry a (very) small caseload.

Responsibilities:
  • General administrative and clinical oversight of all CSPECH Stabilization programming in Boston/surrounding areas.

  • Provide real time guidance and support to CSPECH leadership and field staff to address acute/high risk client needs.

  • Facilitate and manage multidisciplinary huddles for CSPECH.

  • Participate in Street to Home Stabilization Case Conferencing in conjunction with the Medical Director of Homeless Services and Regional Director. Assist staff with formulating and operationalizing appropriate interventions through trauma informed and harm reduction lenses.

  • Collaborate with Eliot’s Statewide Director of CSPECH Services to ensure fidelity to the model and regulatory compliance.

  • Critically analyze current Street to Home systems of care and collaboratively make appropriate modifications to maximize mission effectiveness and efficiency with the HLS Division Director, Regional Director, Medical Director of Homeless Services, Operations Manager and Boston area leadership

  • Conducts outreach with leadership and field staff as needed/assigned

  • Provide after hours consultation and guidance to leadership staff as needed

    Qualifications:

  • Licensed registered nurse in Massachusetts with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in nursing OR a master’s degree in psychology, social work or closely related field with independent licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

  • A minimum of 2 years experience with large-scale project management and/or senior level human service leadership is required. Must possess working knowledge of Boston area services and resources.

  • Must forge and maintain positive and productive working relationships with Boston Mayor’s Office, Boston Public Health Commission, Department of Neighborhood Development, Boston Housing Authority, area hospitals, State Agencies (DMH, DHCD, DDS), and various community-based organizations.

  • Experience with population health management including quality and performance metrics and analysis is preferred.

  • Must have demonstrated experience providing effective clinical and systemic leadership to mid-level management personnel and field staff.

  • Expertise around effectively engaging and supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, severe medical/behavioral health complexity and/or substance use disorders is required.

  • A ble to work autonomously in clinical and/or street-based settings.

    Schedule: Monday - Friday
