Launched in 2023, Integrated Services creates and markets new customer experiences by integrating hardware, software and services across Ford Blue, Model e and Ford Pro. These products and services allow Ford's retail and commercial customers to customize their vehicles like never before with OTA (over-the-air)-driven experiences that grow better over time. In this position...

This role will support the Digital Product Strategy Manager, contributing significantly to the identification and development of enterprise-level opportunities that align with our overall digital product strategy. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of digital product development, market trends, and competitive landscapes, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

What you'll do...

  • Competitive Analysis & Benchmarking: Conduct in-depth competitive audits, analyzing competitor strategies, products, and offerings across global markets. Identify market gaps, opportunities for differentiation, and potential threats to Ford's digital product ecosystem on a worldwide scale. This includes creating detailed competitive reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations.

  • Trend Analysis & Forecasting : Proactively research and analyze emerging customer trends and industry disruptions (3-5 year horizon) considering global variations and regional differences. Identify opportunities for innovation and growth within Ford's digital product portfolio based on these future trends. This includes presenting compelling trend reports and future-state scenarios.

  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans for key digital products and services, ensuring alignment with global strategic objectives. This includes supporting the creation of roadmaps and prioritization of new products.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting : Leverage data analytics tools and techniques to collect, analyze, and interpret data related to global market trends, customer behavior, and product performance. Present data-driven insights clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Collaboration & Communication: Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams across different geographical locations. Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across the organization.

This position is remote unless the candidate lives within 50 miles of Dearborn, MI or Palo Alto, CA.

You'll have...

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 3+ years of experience in digital product strategy, market research, or a related field within the automotive industry (or a comparable fast-paced, technology-driven industry) is highly desirable.

  • 2+ years of experience conducting thorough competitive analysis and market research, including experience with international markets.

  • 2+ years demonstrated experience in identifying and analyzing emerging trends and their implications for business strategy.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights considering diverse market conditions.

This position is a salary grade 8.
