As the Digital Catalog Operations Manager, you have the opportunity to create and manage a worldwide, best-in-class digital product catalog and asset management system for Envista and our entire portfolio of brands. You will be a leader in the Global Digital Marketing Center of Excellence to ensure a timely delivery of all digital experiences globally with both our direct and indirect businesses.
This is a highly visible role on the leadership team of the Digital Marketing Center of Excellence, the new centralized corporate Digital Marketing team overseeing the strategies of all Operating Companies in the Envista portfolio. This Digital Catalog Operations Manager will own the PIM (Product Information Management) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems for Envista across all operating companies globally. The candidate will be responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all product content. Candidate must be results-oriented, capable of executing plans despite challenges. Future growth of this position will include managing, mentoring, and growing a digital catalog operations team.
Responsible for managing PIM and DAM platforms to collect, normalize, and automate content and assets from product sources out to applicable sources, websites, and tools
Partner with internal and external teams to maintain the catalog and other product tools so they can be published across all locations
Identify and drive the catalog and assets management process improvements with the appropriate stakeholders
Ensure product assortment is accurately represented and managed on eCommerce sites in areas of keywords, onsite search optimization, product images, and taxonomy.
Manage and update catalog and asset data used for internal tools
Create and maintain training documentation and train colleagues as needed
Regularly deliver and communicate platform usage and completeness as well as progress of deliverables to management, project owners, and other stakeholders
Ensure PIM standards are met, and SKUs are built and modified efficiently
Own global roadmap for PIM implementation/usage and support rollout with regional teams
Cross-functional collaboration is a must with product management, marketing, and commercial teams from each operating company and market
Assist with additional projects as defined by your manager
BS/BA degree, preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field, and/or the equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing product catalogs for eCommerce
Must have hands-on architect level experience in PIM required, DAM experience a plus
Extensive knowledge of eCommerce/Digital Marketing technologies is required
People management experience, a plus
Outstanding project management skills and the ability to prioritize, multi-task and be a self-starter
Demonstrated experience in process design and documentation
Working knowledge of database management systems and CMS software applications
Highly organized project management skills with the ability to take initiative in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
Excellent time management skills to lead team members disbursed across multiple time zones and multiple operating companies
Ability to collaborate with leadership and peers to ensure understanding of key initiatives and results; can succinctly articulate goals, progress, and priorities in written and verbal formats
Success in a remote working environment
Extremely proficient with data analysis and data platform management
Track record of thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment bringing structure to complex, ambiguous situations
Experience in dealing with multiple brands and/or stakeholders
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with customers, peers, colleagues, and executives. Can succinctly articulate goals, progress, and priorities in written, verbal, and presentation formats.
