Robert Half Desktop Support Analyst in Boston, Massachusetts

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in our Boston, Massachusetts office. This role is essential to our team, with responsibilities spanning across processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. You will also be expected to monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues encountered by users

• Manage the configuration and operation of client-based computer operating systems

• Create and verify backups of data

• Respond to and resolve help desk requests

• Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution

• Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software and other processes

• Review application logs

• Install and test computer-related equipment Requirements • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Desktop Support Analyst role or similar.

• Demonstrated expertise in Android Development.

• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies.

• Familiarity with Citrix Technologies.

• Knowledge and understanding of Computer Hardware.

• Experience working with Dell Technologies.

• Proficiency in using Active Directory.

• Experience with Apple Devices.

• Familiarity with Backup Technologies.

• Experience in Configuration Management.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work well in a team setting.

• Proven record of excellent customer service.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

• Familiarity with ITIL processes will be advantageous.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
