Job Description

Insight Global is seeking Senior Technical Datacenter Project Manager to manage the design, implementation, and migration into the CoLo datacenter facility. As such, the Project Manager must have specific, significant experience in the design and implementation of datacenters along with supporting technologies. The candidate should be able to manage the entire life cycle from requirements definition, design, build, and manage the subsequent migration into the new facility. This will also involve the oversight of either in-house resources or the outsourcing for the procurement of materials and implementation services. This will be hybrid, with 2-3 days a week in downtown Boston and occasionally having to drive to DataCenter in Lowell, MA. The compensation range for this $68-$78/hr based on years of experience.

Skills and Requirements

* 8+ Years of experience in IT Infrastructure projects

• Strong experience with CoLo facility build-outs

* Experience with Greenfield environments

* Direct experience managing projects of datacenter buildouts/Migrations

* Ability to create and manage a project plan, track milestones, and identify dependencies

* Previous experience with being a team leader and contributor -- Provides leadership to build and maintain supportive relationships and commitment of team members to team goals and objectives

* Previous experience with managing multiple vendor contracts, relationships, and deliverables (Verizon, Cisco, Crow Castle, etc...).

* Availability to work weekends and evenings per the implementation schedule * Project Management Certification

* Prior experience on projects with federal, state or local government (public sector) null
