Job Summary: Responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment exercising initiative and independent judgment in prioritizing tasks. The Custodian will strive to achieve and maintain a high standard of cleanliness employing safety procedures. This position is physically demanding and has substantial contact with all staff and Veterans. This position requires the Custodian to be flexible and adaptable; it also requires tasks to be performed in the presence of distractions. This position is considered Essential Personnel and may be required to work during times of inclement weather, holidays and emergencies.
