Overview of Job Function:
This position is responsible for preparing orders, standardizing repeatable provisions to be utilized in orders, nondisclosure agreements, and other matters related to customers and prospects. The position is also responsible for reaching a consensus through cross functional collaboration with Sales, Finance, and our customers; drafting clear and precise terms to accurately reflect the business deal; and general understanding of legal and business concepts relating to agreements.
Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
Prepare drafts of order related terms, amendments, addenda, that are moderate to complex, non-routine contractual instruments.
Manage, revise and finalize all NDAs.
Consult with Contracts Managers and Attorneys and recommend alternative solutions.
Review, verify and maintain all required approvals for extraordinary provisions used in orders, amendments, etc.
Gain, through training, and maintain a current knowledge of software licensing terms and revenue recognition policies.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communication, English or related degree or equivalent work experience.
0 to 2 years of general business experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent analytical and logical thinking skills.
Good presentation skills.
Proficient in MS Word and PowerPoint.
Ability to learn and maintain familiarity of software revenue recognition rules.
Ability to work semi-independently with general supervision, take direction, manage in high-stress situations, and prioritize workload.
Very detail oriented.
Ability to work in a high paced team environment.
Limited domestic travel for team meetings.
Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations.
