State of Massachusetts Contracted Student Intern- Investigations in Boston, Massachusetts

The Department of Mental Health (DMH) is seeking to hire an intern who will support its Investigations Division in Central Office Boston. _Duties and Responsibilities (these duties are a general summary and not all inclusive):_ Under the supervisor's guidance: * Maintain the data dictionary for RL6 (DMH Safety Learning System) * Provide support in creating a job aid for entry users of RL6. * Assist in developing guidelines for the review of cases in RL6. * Implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure service quality and response effectiveness. _Preferred Qualifications:_ * Skilled in data analysis tools or eager to learn. * Written and verbal communication skills for conveying complex data insights to non-technical audiences. * Collaborative and adaptable with interest in mental health services * Ability to conduct independent research. * Given the population served, bilingual or multilingual fluency. _Period of Service:_ May 28, 2024 through August 30, 2024 _Additional Information:_ * Benefits are unavailable with the exception of sick leave accruals. * All employees will be paid on a biweekly basis and must have direct deposit. * The salary for this position is $18 an hour. * Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. * Days Off: Saturday and Sunday _DMH Mission Statement:_ The Department of Mental Health assures and provides access to services and supports to meet the mental health needs of individuals of all ages, enabling them to live, work and participate in their communities.
