Contract Administrator/Project Manager

Key Role:

Work as a member of the firm’s Global Transactions and Innovation team within the Law Department, including providing pre and post award administration services to Booz Allen’s Commercial business and maintaining responsibility for project management across identified internal projects for the Commercial Legal team. Provide administrative support to the attorneys and contract managers during the full contracts life cycle and post-award contract management functions, including contract administration, document management, contract interpretation, contract compliance requirements, and amendments. Work closely with legal counsel and contracts managers on Booz Allen’s Commercial Legal Team and liaise with program managers, senior leaders, and internal client staff. Coordinate with other departments to provide sound contract life cycle support, including Finance, Pricing, Commercial Operations teams, International Trade Compliance, Procurement/Sourcing, Subcontracts, Security, People Services, and other internal resources to help ensure comprehensive risk management. Establish and maintain good working relationships with internal and external key stakeholders and clients.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with contract administration and project management in a legal or professional services setting

  • Experience with working independently in a fast paced environment

  • Experience with performing full life cycle contract administration, including rocessing contract awards and uploading documents to SharePoint

  • Experience as a project manager, including creating, executing and monitoring project plans, schedules, deliverables, and metrics

  • Experience with deck writing and business software tools, including Microsoft Office, Jira, and ServiceNow

  • Ability to quickly learn new technology, tools and platforms, and act as a resource to teach others

  • BA or BS degree
