Position Description

The North America Applications Consulting (NAAC) Cloud Consulting Technical Architect is a hands-on architect accountable for articulating, designing & actively assisting with selling and delivery of Oracle NAAC Consulting’s service offerings around Configure, Price and Quote (CPQ) with the business requirements of our clients in order to deliver transformation.

  • The NAAC Consulting Technical Architect helps to position NAAC Consulting as the “preferred partner of choice for Cloud” with customers and within the organization

  • Develop and work on design solutions on CPQ client engagements

  • Support CPQ technical and functional implementation consultants during implementation phases of the engagement

  • Work on delivering Oracle Best Practices to ensure speed-to-market and alignment with CPQ application functionality

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish strong and collaborative relationships with internal Oracle sales teams and NAAC implementation teams

  • Drive the design solution for engaged client needs and consulting solutions in CPQ

  • Solution workflow from Front Office to Back-Office (L2C)

  • Build solution best practices to ensure high service delivery

  • Support successful delivery, paving the way for expansion

  • Manage issues between Oracle and the customer to achieve positive outcome

  • Ensure success of each engagement, both financially and from a customer satisfaction viewpoint


Role Requirements

You must have a strong record of accomplishment with 5+ years of CPQ architecture, presales, delivery and sales experience. You must have product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the CPQ focus with an ability to develop and maintain relationships at the executive level.

Content Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle CPQ application and delivery

  • Able to communicate and discuss solutions with customers around:

  • Evolving and new technologies across the Oracle CPQ application

  • Front Office to Back-Office workflow

  • Knowledge and experience on CX, Oracle's Cloud Applications preferred

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $88,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
