Thermo Fisher Scientific Business Analyst II in Boston, Massachusetts

Working with a diverse and distributed team supporting the Finance modules of Oracle Enterprise One (E1), including Order to Cash (O2C), Procure to Pay (P2P), and Record to Report (R2R) processes, this position would be responsible for:

  • Reviewing the Daily Open Sales Order Status report to resolve orders that did not invoice or post the previous night.

  • Actively work throughout the month with the Intercompany Accounting team to review and provide information required to reconcile intercompany orders at month-end.

  • Communicate and collaborate with business, external vendors & multi-functional IT teams to analyze, define and deliver requirements on system projects and improvements.

  • Work with business users to maintain the applications/ systems through problem resolution and business initiatives.

  • Create change tickets in ServiceNow as required for any improvements or application fixes, keeping the relevant business partners informed at all stages of the process, and confirming with the requester before closing the ticket

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma required and 6 months to 1 years' experience in Accounting, Finance, or IT

  • Experience with SQL or similar programming language
