Position Overview

Autodesk is looking for an audience marketing manager to lead the development of integrated marketing plans for the product design & engineering audience. This is an exciting opportunity to combine your relevant industry experience with your understanding of marketing channels to create high impact, engaging experiences for our customers.

You will work with team members to develop full lifecycle customer experiences that attract, engage, and delight the product design & engineering audience. The ideal candidate has experience marketing to product design & engineering professionals and is experienced at building compelling, customer-focused messaging, content, web experiences and sales collateral that create difference in the marketplace. Influencing and collaboration skills are required for working with team members across the organization and gaining understanding and commitment. You will report to the Director, Design & Manufacturing Audience Marketing.

You will be able to work hybrid or remote.

Responsibilities

  • Be an internal educator and advocate for product design & engineering audiences, industries, and related Autodesk solutions

  • Partner with industry strategy, product development, sales, and other worldwide marketing teams to align on industry and audience marketing plans to support team goals

  • Define and guide execution against the integrated marketing plan for the product design & engineering audience to drive audience awareness, preference, and adoption for our solutions globally

  • Collaborate with campaign development, product marketing, technical marketing, sales and growth marketing teams on the execution of campaigns that increase ACV growth

  • Manage and allocate budgets for audience marketing programs and be accountable for ROMI

  • Collaborate with other audience marketing managers on joint marketing programs

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a product or industry marketing role, ideally with previous product design or engineering industry experience

  • You are a storyteller who translates feature speak into customer benefits and outcomes that resonate with employees, customers, partners, analysts, and media

  • You demonstrate initiative, accountability, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex projects

  • You are marketer who uses market intelligence and analytics to improve marketing efforts and programs

  • Your work will include 10%+ travel, domestic and international

Preferred Experience

  • You have knowledge of product development with subject matter expertise in the various product design and engineering processes

  • Previous user of CAD tools, especially cloud-based applications, e.g. Fusion

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $94,500 and $163,020. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
