Grant Thornton is seeking an Audience Insights (Manager) to join the team. Approved office locations can be found below.

As part of the Audiences Insights team in our Connected Sales & Marketing function, you will get the opportunity to own the development of audience-centric research and intelligence that power our integrated marketing campaigns and content strategies. Working at the intersection of audience insights and creative storytelling, you'll collaborate with campaign strategists to translate buyer research into compelling content that resonates with our target buyers and drives measurable business outcomes. From day one, you'll be empowered by a talented team of content specialists and the latest digital and AI technologies to create innovative marketing solutions that elevate our firm's presence in the marketplace.

Your Day-to-Day May Include:

  • Conducting comprehensive audience research to develop buyer personas and journey maps that inform targeted content strategies

  • Partnering with Campaign Strategists to align content initiatives with audience objectives and messaging frameworks

  • Driving the development and execution of industry-specific and cross-industry audience research

  • Integrating advanced AI tools and digital workflows to enhance research, content creation processes, improve efficiency, and drive innovation

  • Collaborating with Industry Marketing, Field Marketing, and business stakeholders to ensure audience research integrates with firm priorities and market opportunities

  • Integrating insights from client listening programs, including ClientVoice, brand health, and others

  • Presenting audience strategies and insights to senior leadership and key stakeholders across the firm, as needed

  • Other duties as assigned

You Have the Following Technical Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; MBA or Master's degree preferred

  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience with at least 5 years in content strategy, content marketing, or related discipline

  • 3+ years of team management experience, including experience leading remote or offshore teams

  • Proven track record developing and executing successful B2B content strategies in professional services or similar complex selling environments

  • Deep understanding of audience research methodologies, buyer journey mapping, and content performance analytics

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms, CMS systems, and digital content distribution channels

  • Strong project management skills with ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to translate complex concepts into compelling narratives

  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships across organizational boundaries and influence without direct authority

  • Can travel as needed

The base salary range for this position in the firm’s Chicago, IL, Downers Grove, IL, Denver, CO and Baltimore, MD offices only is between $96,000 and $144,000 per year.

The base salary range for this position in the firm’s Washington, DC, Bellevue, WA, Los Angeles, CA, Newport Beach, CA San Diego, CA, and New York, NY offices only is between $103,700 and $155,500 per year.

The base salary range for this position in the firm’s San Francisco, CA and San Jose, CA offices only is between $110,400 and $165,600 per year.
