Robert Half Attorney/Lawyer in Boston, Massachusetts

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Attorney/Lawyer in the industry, based in Boston, Massachusetts. The individual will be responsible for assisting with complex legal matters and projects with a focus on day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

• Handle resident complaints, providing advice and solutions.

• Draft, review, and negotiate various types of agreements, including corporate, vendor contracts, settlement, and confidentiality agreements.

• Offer litigation management support, overseeing the process from start to finish.

• Manage outside counsel, ensuring optimal use of resources.

• Advise team members on various land use matters, including easements.

• Oversee the review of retail leases, ensuring compliance with legal standards.

• Handle mechanics/construction liens, ensuring due process is followed.

• Serve as an internal risk manager, identifying and mitigating potential risks.

• Support claims services with outside broker and consultant.

• Coordinate internally regarding insurance and risk management matters and communicate with outside broker accordingly.

• Lead and/or supervise special portfolio-wide projects and draft associated policies.

• Stay current with legal developments and industry practices through attending industry conferences, meetings, and reviewing publications and reports.

• Consistently demonstrate use of tact and discretion in all communications.

• Attend to property-related legal matters, including advising on ADA/Fair Housing questions and investigating allegations of discrimination.

Requirements • Must have proven experience in Civil Litigation

• Knowledge of Commercial Real Estate law is required

• Ability to draft contracts with precision and accuracy

• Proficiency in drafting various legal agreements

• Extensive understanding of Liens and Lien Laws

• Demonstrated experience in Contract Negotiations

• Familiarity with Fair Housing Law is essential

• Experience in handling Vendor Contracts

• Proficiency in Land Use law

• Understanding of Easements and related legal procedures
