KPMG is currently seeking an Associate SLG MMIS in Customer & Operations for our Consulting (https://advisory.kpmg.us/) practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage projects as a Business Analyst Subject Matter Professional

  • Be a team member producing high-quality project deliverables on a scheduled basis

  • Support the day-to-day deliverables with others team members working collaboratively

  • Follow methodologies and solutions specific to the public sector and state/local government industry

  • Support and deliver large, complex public services and state/local government engagements that identify, design and implement creative business and technology services for state/local government clients

Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years of demonstrated experience in Software Requirements Management with large and complex projects along with one-three years of demonstrated Health and Human Services knowledge including Medicaid claims processing, finance, pharmacy, provider, TPL, managed care

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Human Services, Health Information Technology or equivalent professional experience

  • Capable of presenting solution topics to large, varied audiences in either written or verbal presentation format and experience Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Able to engage as a team member with 5-7 other team members, both local and virtual, including co-workers from diverse organizations to successfully implement and operate technology-based solutions

  • Any experience with the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Medicaid Information Technology Architecture (MITA), Medicaid Certification Lifecycle, associated toolkit and CMS checklists is strongly designed

  • Able to travel may be up to 80-100%

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
