Are you excited to be part of a forward-thinking team driving research and innovation on a dynamic, fast-paced campus? We're looking for individuals with diverse skills and experience to join our Information Services & Technology (IS&T) team as the Assistant Vice President of Constituent Relationship Management (CRM). In this senior leadership role, you will help shape the technical vision of various platforms while working closely with business partners on strategic direction.

Position Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead the strategy, planning, development, release, and operations of organization-wide applications and data integration services.

  • Oversee a team responsible for full-service ownership of various CRM functions within Applications.

  • Support staff development and foster growth within the team.

  • Coach and manage director-level team members, manage vendor relationships, and implement efficient business processes aligned with industry best practices.

  • Collaborate with central business owners and key stakeholders to develop solutions that meet their needs, establish priorities, and set timeframes for support and maintenance. Ensure open and effective communication across application teams and stakeholders.

  • Serve as the service owner or oversee service management for CRM-related applications.

  • Lead the implementation of software development and support best practices, team leadership initiatives, and collaboration with other departments. Oversee the assessment and implementation of vendor-packaged solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology or business-related field such as computer science, information systems, mathematics, or business administration.

  • A master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum, ITIL, TOGAF) is preferred but not required.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, with at least 8 years in a leadership role.

  • Experience in higher education is preferred but not required.

Technical Skills:

  • CRM expertise: In-depth knowledge of CRM solutions, such as Salesforce.com, Blackbaud, Slate, and/or Liaison, especially as used in educational or nonprofit sectors.

  • Data integration: Familiarity with integrating CRM systems with other applications and data sources.

  • Software development: understanding of software development best practices and methodologies.

  • CRM governance: Ability to establish and manage CRM governance processes, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance.

Other Skills:

  • Experienced leadership and management abilities.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
