EOED is seeking anApplication Developerwho will be responsible for trouble shooting .NET and similar applications. The primary work location for this role will be1000 Washington Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02108.The work schedule for this position isMonday through Friday, 9:00AM to 5:00PM EST.This position would be expected to follow ahybridmodel of reporting to work that combines in-office workdays and work from home days as needed. Duties and Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain web applications using contemporary frameworks and technologies. * Collaborate with diverse teams to translate business needs into technical solutions. * Craft clean, efficient, and reusable code to ensure optimal performance. * Conduct thorough code reviews, offering valuable feedback to fellow developers. * Diagnose and resolve software defects, security, and performance bottlenecks. * Engage in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to production deployment and maintenance. * Stay abreast of the latest technologies and industry trends to refine development practices. * Advocate for software development best practices, including meticulous code documentation and robust version control. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: * *A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Full Stack Web Developer. * .Net Proficiency and familiarity with any of these back-end technologies (Java, Node.js, Python) and relational databases - SQL Server, MySQL * Familiarity with at least one modern front-end framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) * Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript * Familiarity with technologies like Power Automate, and Salesforce. * Thorough understanding of software development methodologies, particularly agile practices. * Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical skills. * Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team. * Excellent communication and presentation skills. * First consideration will be given to those applicants that apply within the first 14 days. Minimum Entrance Requirements: Applicants must have (A) at least one (1) year of full-time or equivalent part-time professional or practical experience in information technology application development and support or (B) any equivalent combination of the required experience and the substitutions below.
