Our client - a global pharmaceutical powerhouse, known for developing and manufacturing a wide array of world-class pharmaceutical drugs, life-saving vaccines, and innovative animal-health products - is in search of an Animal Research Associate to join their dynamic team.

Type: Contract (2 yrs)

Location: Boston, MA

Pay: Up to $31.69/hr

Responsibilities:

• Support preclinical discovery programs focused on oncology drug discovery.

• Conduct cell culture and prepare in vivo samples for analysis.

• Formulate compounds and administer doses to laboratory animals.

• Report and analyze data from experiments, including ELISA or MSD-based assays.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and effective project outcomes.

Qualifications:

• AS/BS/BA in Biology, Animal Science, or relevant fields.

• 3-6 years of hands-on laboratory experience, specifically with lab mice.

• Proficient in animal handling techniques, including restraint and dosing (particularly via intravenous/tail vein administration).

• Skilled in compound preparation and formulation.

• Proficiency in cell culture techniques.

• Experience performing ELISA or similar assays.

• Familiarity with data graphing software such as Excel or GraphPad PRISM is a plus.
