Collins Aerospace is looking to hire a temporary Air Traffic Control Executive Technical Advisor within the Precision Navigation portfolio that includes radar-based air traffic control and precision landing systems, GPS-based precision landing systems, aircraft radio navigation systems, UAS flight control systems and identification friend or foe systems. The hired professional will be responsible for providing business, competition, market trends and technology insights to aid in identifying, incubating, pursuing, and capturing precision navigation opportunities with customers within the US Department of Defense and for international military customers. This includes participation in Black Hats, Strategy Development Workshops, Price-to-Win analysis and Market Surveys. The specific focus of this role is the growth of the mobile Air Traffic Control market. The professional will participate in the development of the growth plan and technical roadmap for the Precision Navigation Mobile Air Traffic Control portfolio in alignment with market forecast needs and capability gaps. The environment is exciting, dynamic, highly technical, collaborative, and challenging. This is a remote position taking direction out of MA.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Participation in Black Hats

  • Participation in Competitive Intel collection via open sources

  • Analysis of market trends

  • Participation in brainstorming sessions for strategy development

  • Participation in development of Deal-to-Win

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 14+ years’ experience with DOD Air Traffic Control

  • 10+ years’ experience in Air Traffic Control industry

  • Experience in Business Development and pursuits

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Leadership skills

  • Presentation skills

  • Customer Interaction skills

  • Understanding of RTX Pursuit Capture process

This is a temporary position of undetermined length.

The salary range for this role is $82.21 to $164.90. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
