Insight Investments Corporate Office - Costa Mesa, Account Executive - IFS in Boston, Massachusetts

  • Prospects for new accounts and seeks opportunities to increase existing ones

  • Conducts regular sales calls to develop customer relationships and follow up on leads

  • Call in key decision makers at end user level to compel them to expand or develop their relationship so that IIC becomes their leasing partner of choice for all assets

  • Prepare presentations/proposals and present in a persuasive manner to customers/prospects

  • Penetrate accounts to identify opportunities for additional sales for Red8 and 2NDGEAR products

  • Meet annual established sales quotas

  • Manage the account relationship and collaborate with internal Sales support team for successful implementation of lease and services as well as ongoing servicing for entire lifecycles of agreement

  • Work with internal resources includes sales management, sales support, system engineers, marketing, accounting, etc to provide the best customer service throughout lifecycle of the lease

  • Manage the response to RFP's internally, making recommendations to sales management about competitive bids, terms and conditions, and pricing

  • Sell against all competition including banks, captives and other independent leasing companies

  • $500,000 in lease origination after 1st quarter with IICS and $1 million after 1st 9 months

  • Spend 2 days per month with Senior IFS Account Executives (1st 6 months) in office or on sales calls

  • Make a minimum of 40 calls per day and 3 on site call per week

  • Complete 2 MLA's per quarter

  • Meet with one vendor per week

  • Have a minimum of 3 contacts at each account

  • Moderate proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point or Salesforce.Com or other SFA software

  • Proficient with a financial calculator

  • Leasing structures: Op Lease, Capital Lease, FMV

  • Financial selling. Ability to generate $5MM in lease origination within the first year and $10MM in the second year is expected

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience

  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Computer Science; or equivalent experience is required

  • IT or medical experience is a plus

  • Must be highly motivated individual with high level of initiative and an attitude of willingness

  • Must be team player willing to assist others at all levels of the organization

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide superior customer service and maintain cooperative working relationships Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and work autonomously or with a team

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to communicate effectively on a one-on-one basis or in group setting

  • Ability to exercise strict confidentiality
