Our client north of Boston is looking to add an NDT Inspector Level 2 to their growing team! Candidates suited for this role should have at least a High School diploma or GED and between 3-5 years of experience performing inspections with precision measurement tools in a quality and manufacturing environment. Our client is specifically looking for folks who have NDT and Mag Particle Inspection experience. responsibilities:

  • Utilize various standard inspection tools, including CMM, micrometers, height gauges, calipers, bore gauges, and Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), to examine machined parts of different sizes.

  • Confirm the accuracy and calibration of inspection instruments on both the production floor and within Quality Labs.

  • Perform checks during the manufacturing process to ensure parts and processes comply with engineering and customer requirements.

  • Review final components against specified customer drawings, standards, and procedures.

  • Carry out inspections for incoming raw materials and components to ensure they meet quality standards.

  • Engage in Quality Assurance tasks, including supporting both internal and external audits.

  • Apply knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) in inspections.

  • Interpret technical drawings to verify that parts meet necessary specifications.

  • Coordinate with other departments to maintain smooth production flow and address any machining or quality concerns.

  • Record findings and propose recommendations for process improvements.

  • Demonstrate readiness to mentor others and support skill development.

  • Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment.

  • Work autonomously with minimal oversight from senior staff within the functional area.

  • Follow company protocols to meet ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 quality standards.

  • Comply with established safety regulations.
