Job Description

Job Summary:

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated provides enabling technologies for industrial growth markets that require advanced technology and high reliability. Detailed Description:

Provides enterprise level support as part of the IT Client Systems team. Provides day-to-day technical support focusing on Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) infrastructure and client systems. May provide secondary support for Mobile Device Management utilizing VMware Workspace One (WS1), and project support as directed.

Works under consultative direction toward long-range goals and objectives. Will work with other Client Systems administrators or local site IT staff to resolve incident tickets and support requests. Decisions affect the financial, employee, or public relations posture of the organization. Erroneous decisions or recommendations would normally result in failure to achieve goals critical to the major objectives of the organization. May take on leadership roles. Able to lead a particularly important or complex effort or multiple efforts, appropriately delegating to and coordinating with others. Displays exemplary ethics and business conduct and performs work cognizant of safe work practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Client Systems Administration for ITSS: approximately 50% of time:

  • SCCM administration and troubleshooting. Server and workstation administration and troubleshooting; monitor and or directly administer selected servers or other network infrastructure as required. Support SCCM operations for Teledyne-Flir sites and migrations. Support tickets for updates deployment and application requests. SCCM client issues and support. Application testing and deadlines.

  • Support for Workspace One (WS1) and mobile devices: approximately 50% of time:

  • Respond to, evaluate, and prioritize all tickets assigned to the Client Systems ticket queue, under the guidance of the MDM lead and Client Systems Manager.

  • Research and utilize necessary resources to troubleshoot new and complex problems.

  • Record and track interaction with end-users and related activities in the ServiceNow system.

  • Provide Enterprise mobile device support encompassing:

  • WS1 support tickets

  • WS1 platform support and maintenance

  • Maintenance and support of Enterprise device standards and minimum software versions

  • Site support as needed supporting mobile devices

  • Communication and reporting of Mobile devices

  • Perform project work as directed.

  • Daily availability to include evenings and weekends when necessary to reach goals and deadlines.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in a related field and 5 - 10 years of directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Information Technology certifications preferred.

  • Industry trends and best practices in the area of IT infrastructure and software/hardware refreshes and break-fix
