POSITION SUMMARY

Focus on providing consistently outstanding service to all customers in an effort to build customer relationships with the bank. Helps the branch meet assigned productivity goals by identifying products and services that will assist customers meet their financial goals. Process transactions in accordance with Bank policies and procedures while focusing on accuracy, security, fraud prevention and customer confidentiality.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide prompt and efficient service to our customers, in a polite, friendly and courteous manner, without exception to deliver same “well north” experience

  • Service customer accounts by completing requested transactions: deposits, withdrawals and account inquiries under applicable policy and procedure. Process checks, identify customers by accepted procedure and cash checks up to prescribed limits. Process payments: mortgage, loan and safe deposit. Process night depository bags. Sell money orders, treasurer checks and foreign currency. Maintain required amount of cash on hand within draw limits.

  • Balance daily within over/short policy.

  • Develop knowledge of Bank products and services to a level at which one can speak confidently and professionally to deepen the customer’s relationship with the bank.

  • Proactively reviews customer profile to make suggestions or recommendations that will assist customers in meeting their financial goals.

  • Work with branch team in order to achieve individual and branch sales goals.

  • Responsible for the completion and implementation of all compliance and regulatory training.

  • Participate in branch or bank related community events.

  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.

    REQUIREMENTS

  • High school education or equivalent experience

  • Basic mathematical skills and experience in cash handling

  • Previous customer service and or sales experience preferred.

  • Must possess effective human relations and communication skills

  • Ability to accomplish the described duties through use of appropriate computer and general office equipment

  • Attention to detail is required.

  • Must be able to work additional hours or at additional locations as needed.

  • Must be able to work weekends

Saturday: 8 am - 1:30 pm
