We are looking for a Windows Automation engineer that willhelp move our automation program forward. The selected candidate will combineinfrastructure IT skills with a solid understanding of scripting technologiesto accelerate the pace at which we deliver services.
- Automation of Windows System Tasks via PowerShell
- Design and sustain our enterprise Configuration ManagementFramework (Chef Ecosystem).
- Peer review industry/corporate code for best practicesaround compliance management, automated testing and configuration management.
- Participation in one or more Agile development teams.
- Collaborate with project teams to support infrastructurescalability and performance.
- Ability to work escalated vendor support cases toresolution.
- Project focused tasking and support with some day-to-dayoperational responsibilities.
-BS in Computer Science or related field
-Experience writing code in PowerShell
-Background with task tracking and knowledge management systems: (Jira,Confluence)
-Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery workflows
-Experience with version control systems and Infrastructure as Code practice
-Software development with an object-oriented language (Ruby, Java)
-Ability to work with a project team to ensure timely deliverable completion
-Communication and documentation skills
-Knowledge of Server 2012 and 2016 Operating Systems
- BS in Computer Scienceor related field with 2 years of experience.
-Familiarity with Ruby and Chef
-Experience with continuous delivery of applications and services
-Experience with delivering infrastructure through industry best practice of ConfigurationManagement Frameworks (CMF) and Infrastructure-as-Code
-Windows operating systems administration and troubleshooting.
-Object Oriented Software development skill with a strong interest inInfrastructure Automation
-Strong analytical skills and the ability to use creative problem solving totackle tough issues.
