Department Summary:

The Electronic Systems Innovation Center is a leader in applying cutting edge technologies to solve the nation’s toughest problems. The Electronic Systems Development and Embedded Security department specializes in prototyping and analyzing the next-generation systems for our sponsors to reduce risk in Programs of Record (PoR), bring innovative new solutions to solve challenges of national importance while protecting critical program information, and provide subject matter expertise with hands-on experience.

Roles & Responsibilities:

This position will apply innovative expert-level signal processing and analytical expertise to a wide variety of communications, sensor, dynamic spectrum, and related applications.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 7 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 4 years’ experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience

  • Apply deep signal processing analytical expertise to create innovative algorithms and solutions

  • Develop new analytical tools, models, and visualizations to support capability development

  • Create innovative solutions in communications, sensors, controls, and hardware security

  • Communicating with MITRE stakeholders and Sponsor organizations on mission utility analysis

  • Mentoring of staff working on related activities

  • This position requires a minimum of 50% hybrid on-site

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Field specific or related education

  • Additional years of experience

  • Additional clearances

  • Additional skills, specific tools, or programs
