TheIT Communications Specialist is a subject matter expert with a passion foreffective, dynamic and targeted internal communications that motivates intendedaudiences to action.

Reportinginto the IT Communications Lead, and working closely with Service Managers andSupport Services, the IT Communications Specialist will be responsible fordeveloping and executing end-user communications to drive awareness,understanding, and deepen adoption of our IT services.

Key Functions:

  • Plan,write, edit, and deliver content for a variety of internal mediums includingbroadcast email, newsletters, web, and print.

  • Workwith IT subject matter experts (SMEs) and Service Managers to developcommunications materials including News Center articles, emails, quick referenceguides, handouts, and online support knowledge articles.

  • Provideguidance and expertise in digital content creation and content management tohelp maximize the effectiveness of our internal websites.

  • Developand maintain an editorial calendar.

  • Developand implement communications and outreach programs.

  • Track and analyzecontent performance through metrics.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BSrequired, preferably with emphasis on communications

  • 3 years of experience in the communication field

Ability to translate complex informationinto clear and compelling visual and written communications

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with writing and editing material in a journalistic style for publication on web and in workforce messages and newsletters

  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills

  • Experience with web content management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Visualdesign skills (Adobe Design Suite or similar) a plus

  • Experiencewith change management communications a plus
