LogixHealth Facilities Manager in Bedford, Massachusetts

Purpose

The Manager is responsible for the overall supervision and maintenance operations of the facilities including compliance with federal, state, and local codes, routine maintenance checks, emergency systems, safety rules and policy and procedures. This will include all office buildings

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plans, organizes, develops and leads the overall facilities management operations which includes maintenance and housekeeping in accordance with federal, state, local laws

  • Monitors major facility related issues

  • Conducts facility walk-throughs

  • Oversees and assists with minor repairs

  • Manages Day Porter staff including delegation of work duties

  • Assists with Day Porter job duties

  • Responds to building emergencies

  • Oversees construction and build out projects, working with the CEO, engineers, designers, contractors and tenants

  • Monitors facilities for building repairs, cleanliness, safety, damages and tracks to completion

  • Monitors and maintains Maintenance logs

  • Oversees contractors including electrician, HVAC, landscaping and cleaners

  • Oversees the testing, scheduled inspections and maintains proper documentation on the fire protection system

  • Processes and submits monthly expenses

  • Reviews and submits all Facility related invoices for approval

  • Maintains database of vendors, licenses, tenants and contractors

  • Ensure cooperative team environment

  • Oversee the recruitment process

  • Review and approve time and attendance records according to company standards

  • Provide on-going feedback and annual performance reviews

  • Uphold company mission, vision and values

  • Proactively monitor company policies and address transgressions appropriately

  • Facilitate meetings within department and make presentations to senior management as needed

  • Monitor and enforce compliance with all pertinent local, state, and federal laws and regulations relating to operations and employment

  • Comply with all State and Federal Laws regarding an effective Compliance Program inclusive of HIPAA Privacy and Security

    Education (Degrees, Certificates, Licenses, Etc.)

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

    Experience

  • Management experience, including hiring staff, coaching, performance management, daily operations supervision, discipline and counseling

  • Experience with building management, construction project management

    Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability

  • Knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, mechanical and services required

  • Ability to problem solve issues and make minor repairs

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

  • Possess knowledge of all fire & life safety regulations

  • Demonstrate the ability to multi task

  • Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours

  • Ability to manage employees

  • Possess excellent written and verbal skills for effective communication

  • Excellent organizational skills
