Description We are in search of a meticulous Data Processing Clerk I to join our team in Bedford, MA. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for collecting, reviewing, and inputting data into our computer processing system. This role demands a strong ability to identify and rectify errors, maintain and revise lists, and process and distribute output forms and reports. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Collect, review, and input data into the computer processing system while ensuring accuracy.

• Thoroughly audit output data and maintain control records to ensure authenticity.

• Identify missing information and update files accordingly to ensure data integrity.

• Evaluate accounts and data, identify errors, and make necessary corrections to maintain data accuracy.

• Maintain and revise lists, control records, and coding schemes for processing source data.

• Conduct regular reviews of files, tabulate results, and prepare statistical reports.

• Ensure proper maintenance of indexes and related files.

• Efficiently process and distribute output forms and reports.

• Involve yourself in coding activities, calculating, and checking batch totals.

• Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision. Requirements • Proficiency in auditing procedures and practices

• Strong understanding and experience in clerical duties

• Knowledge of coding systems and their applications

• Experience with handling missing invoices

• Proficiency in data processing and related software

• Experience with indexing systems and their applications

• Ability to work under direct supervision

• Familiarity with Great Plains (GPAC) software

• Ability to generate and interpret statistical reports
