Corporate Real Estate (CRE) is responsible for managing the Real Estate infrastructure and related business processes ​​​​​​to support our FFRDC goals and our sponsors' mission outcomes. We develop and maintain a physical infrastructure and supporting business processes to effectively enable MITRE’s Good Growth strategy, empowering our staff to act as the connector.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Work/coordinate with the business representatives and MITRE subject matter experts to ensure project requirements are appropriately defined, scoped, and are executable.

  • Monitors project progress and makes adjustments as necessary to ensure projects are executed according to plan, ensures the assigned projects are completed within the set budget and within the scope while also ensuring the project delivers the expected results and benefits.

  • Responsible for coordinating with key MITRE business partners (finance, security, corporate agreements, business units, IT) to ensure that projects are efficiently executed.

  • Resolves any project-related issues or conflicts that may arise and escalates to CRE leadership as needed.

  • Responsible for representing CRE’s interests in project progress meetings.

  • Coordinate and integrate activities for successful project delivery across key external project stakeholders including architects, engineers, and/or general contractors.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years related work experience on construction management projects.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Experience in a corporate environment, able to represent and articulate corporate equities on behalf of the corporate leadership.

  • Ability to effectively manage several projects simultaneously in a rapid paced environment.

  • Understanding of financial concepts, project management, and organizational skills.

  • Able to create and drive project schedules enabling changes to project schedules

  • Minimum of 50% on site but will need to have the flexibility to come on campus based on the business need.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Expert in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Experience with Microsoft Project and Visio.

  • Strong customer service focus.

  • Degree in Construction Management
