Job Description

The Business Development Representative is an extension of RSA's sales team and is a critical resource which helps drive revenue through demand generation, opportunity progression, and account fulfillment assistance. The Business Development Representative participates in a sales training program or sales training activities that develop skill sets surrounding technology foundations, RSA solutions knowledge, sales and soft skills. This role is part of an Inside Sales Development Program in which these training and sales activities will provide career advancement opportunities to a quota carrying inside sales rep over the course of 10-14 months. In your role as a Business Development Rep you will:

  • Generates qualified customer leads that the inside and outside sales teams can develop into sales opportunities.

  • Leverages multiple lead-generation tools to meet appointment quota goals.

  • Participates in ongoing sales, business, and technical training courses to increase overall awareness of RSA's solutions and go-to-market strategies.

  • Participates in "partner blitzes" to help educate our partners and grow RSA's channel business to drive incremental revenue.

  • Drives attendance to customer events, seminars, and briefings.

  • Utilizes to track appointments and other sales activities.

  • Participates in quote preparation for internal and external resources.

Critical Hiring Criteria

  • Understanding of RSA's products and their value added to the customer.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • 6 Months experience working within a quota carrying role is desired
