Integrated Team Assistant Director

What You Do:
The Edinburg Center is seeking an Integrated Team Assistant Director within our Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) services group. Responsible for clinical supervision of licensed staff and other staff as assigned. Ensures services are recovery-oriented, evidenced-based and trauma informed and inclusive of families and significant others. Ensures screening and assessments of Persons referred for services are conducted according to established procedures and timelines. Trains and supervises team staff on treatment plan development and documentation of Persons’ progress. Assists in selecting strategies for Persons at high-risk and/or difficult to engage. Provides clinical services to Persons as required. Responsible for other clinical/administrative duties as assigned.
Who You Are:
Master’s degree in relevant clinical field plus Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts required (LICSW, LMHC). Minimum of one year post-Master’s work experience in mental health required. Experience working with adults with major mental illness and co-occurring substance abuse disorders required. Training and experience in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and/or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Illness Management and Recovery, Stages of Change, Screening, Brief Intervention, Referral, and Treatment (SBIRT), Substance Abuse Treatment, Housing First, Harm Reduction, and Motivational Interviewing and trauma-informed care strongly preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team in the provision of clinical, rehabilitative, and recovery-oriented services to Persons Served with major mental illness preferred. Stages of Change, Screening, Brief Intervention, Referral, and Treatment (SBIRT), Substance Abuse Treatment, Housing First, Harm Reduction, and Motivational Interviewing, First Aid, CPR, and MAP certification within three months of hire required. Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
