Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers.

Entry Level Security Officers and Mobile Officers: $15.00-$16.50

Qualifications:

Excellent observational skills and ability to report any HVAC and loss prevention concerns.

Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, tenders, security team and public.

Commitment to safety and ethical conduct, following all relevant policies and procedures.

*At least 1 year of previous employment history related to customer service is preferred.

Duties:

  • Foot patrol both interior and exterior

  • Vehicle patrol of client property - vehicle provide Mobile Officers Only*

  • Access control, badging and some reception duties

  • Customer service, computer an phone skills

  • Upholding client expectations on site

  • Writing detailed incident reports and daily activity reports

  • Communicating with chain of command any safety and security concerns at the client's site

Requirements:

Must be 18 years or older with high school diploma, GED, equivalent already obtained.

Fluency in English, written and verbal
