ATHOL ENTRY LEVEL Finisher - Polisher Job Description: Perform repetitive machine and hand polishing operations on a variety of micrometer frames to remove gates and defects prior to plating or painting using various bench machines such as; vertical or horizontal lap belt machines, drum and roll polishing machines and hand polishing tools. Machine and hand polish to shape frames, remove gates, and defects while maintaining uniform surface and shape. Skill and dexterity required to produce a finish suitable for plating or painting, avoid undercutting while maintaining contours and radii. Maintain machines by cleaning, greasing and/or oiling as necessary or prescribed.
