Coordinate and facilitate Pro-Cert, Lean and other Carrier Excellence activities across the entire factory. Ensures process capabilities, lean manufacturing processes, production yields, and productivity improvements are in conformance with company's established plans and objectives. Provides support for operations teams on process improvement opportunities. Participate and implement Carrier Excellence Kaizen events throughout the plant to affect rapid change.

  • Responsible for driving Pro-Cert initiatives including but not limited to PFMEA, gauge R&R, capability study, control plan and periodic process capability audit

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining factory-wide Operations systems including but not limited to QCPC, Tool Request, RPA (Request for Production Assistance) and other work flows

  • Manage and facilitate lean manufacturing projects utilizing Carrier Excellence Operating System to ensure company‚Äôs established lean manufacturing roadmap is achieved on time and on quality

  • Facilitate and provide support to Carrier Excellence Kaizen events

  • Participate in company Carrier Excellence assessment and contribute to maintain and improve Carrier Excellence Certification levels

  • Assists in manufacturing process improvements. Proactively identifies areas for improvement in processing efficiencies, capacity, energy, process safety and environmental systems consistent with business objectives.

  • Perform other duties as required or assigned


  • BS in engineering or related field required

  • Preferred at least three years of experience as a manufacturing engineer in a medium volume manufacturing environment with a large variety of products

  • Experience with lean manufacturing projects

  • Experience with 6 Sigma and statistical process control tools and methodologies

  • Excellent statistical data-driven decision making and problem solving skills

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Must be able to interface with different levels in the organization to facilitate changes
