The Configuration and Data Management (CMDM) center is responsible for ensuring our products are under configuration control and delivered on time. The CDM Organization consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices, and our customers. Disciplines in the CDM organization participate in the life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation.

The Sensors, Surveillance, and Space Configuration Management Department is looking for a Talent & Development Lead.

This position is in Andover, MA (Hybrid role)

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute cohesive training for the department.

  • Evaluate training needs to achieve individual and organizational goals.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify and develop internal candidates for future roles.

  • Audit training plans to ensure training is up to date with company policies and procedures.

  • Measure the success of training and development plans.

  • Collaborate closely with the Education team to address training requirements.

  • Identify potential risks and challenges due to attrition, proactively addressing them to minimize disruptions and ensure project success.

  • Maintain accurate records to ensure completion of required training for employees.

  • Manage training budgets.

  • Maintain documentation including competency models, training, and hiring documents.

  • Evaluate current staffing levels and address staffing needs.

  • Maintain a staffing pipeline for succession planning.

  • Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, develop job descriptions and coordinate interviews.

  • Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree, OR in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required.

  • 8 years of professional experience

  • Experience with PDM (Product Data Management) tools or similar.

  • Experience with project management and/or budgeting.

  • Experience with MS Office products.

  • Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
