Raytheon Supply Chain Project Manager Co-op (Winter/Spring 2019) in Andover, Massachusetts

This is a 6-month co-op opportunity for spring 2019. Selected candidate must be available to work full time January 7 – June 28. Don’t just start a co-op, start a career. Global Business Services – Supply Chain (GBS-SC) is seeking a full time co-op student employee for January – June 2019 to serve as a Supply Chain project manager. GBS-SC is Raytheon’s enterprise services organization focusing on procurement for all Raytheon businesses. The Operations team supports buyers across the United States in the areas of technology, automation, process improvement, compliance, material program management, learning and master data management. The role is located at Raytheon’s Andover, MA office and the successful candidate will be required to have reliable transportation to this facility every day. Minimal travel to other Raytheon facilities may be required. The project manager will also have the opportunity to achieve Raytheon certifications in the areas of procurement, subcontract management and Raytheon Six Sigma. Job shadowing, mentoring, leadership learning sessions and flexible work arrangements are also available. At the end of the rotation, the co-op will have a solid understanding of procurement, SAP, reporting tools and the aerospace and defense industry. The successful candidate will create metrics and reports for the procurement team members and leadership to drive decision making, measure performance and increase automation. Day to day tasks will occur in tools such as SAP, Business Warehouse, Business Objects, SharePoint, Tableau, Lumira and MS Excel. The co-op will also lead the management of the team’s SharePoint environment to provide team efficiency across the multiple team sites. The co-op will have the opportunity to partner with IT to develop dashboards and scorecards and roll supply chain tools out to procurement professionals. Key Responsibilities may include: Assist with the placement and maintenance of purchase order activities Develop and produce metrics and reports on a regular basis for consumption across all levels of the GBS-SC organization Create ad-hoc reports to support team member’s needs for audits, management reviews and special projects Serve on project teams to deploy metrics dashboards and reporting tools, partnering with IT Complete a Raytheon Six Sigma project to become a Raytheon Six Sigma specialist Create and deploy training supply chain information tool sets US Citizenship Required : This position requires access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship. Required Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to balance workload by multi-tasking Team player with strong interpersonal skills Desired Skills: Experience using SAP (Procurement functions, Business Warehouse, Business Objects) Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (including Pivot Tables, Macros, etc) Required Education/Experience: Candidate must be in/entering their junior or senior year(60+ credit hours) and actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field.
