We are looking for an exceptional Senior Manager of IT to manage the Human Capital Management (Workday) Applications. The Senior Manager will directly manage a global delivery team of Business Analysts and third-party resources. This is a highly visible and influential role that supports a number of critical business functions. This position requires strong knowledge of both business process and technology to drive IT solutions that align with MKS business objectives.
This role offers a hybrid work option for days remote and onsite at our Andover, MA office.
What you will do is:
Provide end to end oversight for application lifecycle, enhancements and projects
Ensure that standards and best practices are published, maintained, and enforced; ensures application changes are compliant with Sarbanes Oxley and other processes
Partner with Business Relationship and other IT teams on options to solve business problems including, solution options and approach; provides estimates for business cases
Lead the functional design and system configuration process for complex solutions
Work with Managed Service partner teams to understand application support metrics and identifies project and enhancement opportunities to improve application stability and the user experience
Maintain an application roadmap for applications residing in their domain; roadmap includes projects to ensure supportability, migrations to Enterprise solutions, and consolidation opportunities
Provide resource supervision including but not limited to career development, behavioral management, goal setting, and performance evaluations
What you will bring to the team, along with your curiosity and drive for excellence is:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and or Information Systems, or equivalent with 10+ years overall IT experience including 3+ in an IT leadership role
Proven success implementing and configuring Workday HR and Payroll business processes and applications
Experience translating business problems into IT solutions via a structured methodology
Extensive experience with project and resource management methodologies and best practices
Experience working with managed service and delivery partners leveraging a Global Workforce
Exceptional interpersonal skills and written communication skills to frequently interact with all levels of the organization
