Job Description
Skyworks is seeking an RF Module Design Engineer for its Diversified Analog Solutions (DAS) Division in the Andover, MA design center. If you are a motivated candidate with skills and interest in development of Modules, our Skyworks Andover, MA design center is looking for you! As a home to an elite team of top RF professionals you will work side by side with a mentor and grow your skills working on real products. Located just 30 minutes from Boston, the Andover area boasts a high quality of family life, top-notch education, access to pristine nature areas, and historical sites. Here we specialize in RF connectivity products covering a range of solutions, end markets and applications.
Skyworks is a world class, vertically integrated company with manufacturing capabilities in RF semiconductors, acoustic filters, packaging, and test. The candidate will be involved in all aspects of product realization and work with an extended cross-site team to validate and deliver high-performance RF products from concept to high volume markets .
Job Responsibilities
Design RF front-end Module (FEM) for WiFi Applications that consist of PAs, LNA and Switches
Utilization of MCM/PCB layout tools such as Allegro PCB designer
Presentation of detailed design reviews
Communicate with employees at all levels in the organization and be able to demonstrate excellent problem solving, data analysis, and critical thinking skills.
Performing lab testing, tuning and using various RF test equipment
Qualifications
BSEE with a minimum of 2 years of experience, MS or PHD
Strong knowledge of RF circuit architectures and design tradeoffs in PA’s, LNA’s, and RF switches
Experience with Keysight ADS, and/or Cadence and associated simulation engines and data displays.
Experience with EM simulators such as Momentum, HFSS, and EMX
Strong Lab experience to perform IC / Module characterization.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to generate clear technical presentations and data summaries.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $74,800 - $135,400 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
