WATTS Payroll Specialist in Andover, Massachusetts
Support the Payroll team during the annual equity, bonus and merit cycle by performing administrative tasks. This is a temporary and part time position for 1st Quarter.
Completing employment verifications
Scanning payroll packets
Approving payroll related business processes in Workday (one-time payments, hires, terminations)
Sorting, distributing and processing mail (wage audits, garnishment orders, etc.)
Processing PTO corrections
Payroll preparation (disability calculations, creating upload templates, reconciliation of time and attendance imports)
Various audits (work from home, shift, 401k eligibility, etc.)
Preparing journal entries
Working knowledge with UKG Pro (UltiPro) Payroll, UKG Time and Attendance and Workday
Excellent customer services skills, ability to work independently
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Confidentiality is a must
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to use judgment and make decisions independently to meet deadlines
Ability to multi‐task, prioritize and meet time‐sensitive deadlines
Excellent attention to detail, positive attitude a must

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
