Adecco US, Inc. Payroll Administrator in Andover, Massachusetts

Adecco is seeking a talented Payroll Administrator in Andover! This position is temp-to-potential-hire and is hybrid once fully trained.

Hours: 8:00AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday

Pay: $30-$34/hr DOE

Position Summary:

This position processes multi-state payrolls and maintains the time and attendance system for Straumann entities in North America. Ensures payroll reporting and payments are compliant with company policy, generally accepted accounting principles, and federal, state and IRS regulations. Answers high volume of employee inquiries and interprets time off benefits in accordance with company policy.

Job Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following (* indicates essential function):

  • Process biweekly payrolls for all Straumann entities in the US & Canada

  • Responsible for auditing new hire & termination entries, changes in salary, benefits, tax withholdings, deductions, etc. via our payroll systems (US: ADP Workforce Now for the US and Canada).

  • Compile and maintain time and attendance data using Kronos Workforce Ready.

  • Process sales commissions files on a monthly basis and bonus payments on a quarterly basis, and other files as needed.

  • Process off cycle payrolls as needed.

  • Process accurate and timely year-end reporting when necessary (W-2, W-2c, T-2200 & TP-64, etc.).

  • Ensures payroll reporting and payments are compliant with company policy, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and Federal, State and IRS regulations.

  • Responds to auditing and regulatory inquiries.

  • Help research and interpret federal, state, and Canadian tax documents to assist Payroll Manager.

  • Respond to verification of employment requests.

  • Assist Payroll Manager with internal and external audits.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in payroll preparation for a multi-location organization

  • 3+ years of experience with payroll and time tracking systems

  • Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related discipline

  • Experience resolving complex payroll processing and employee payroll issues.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products

  • Preferred systems & time tracking experience with SAP, ADP Workforce Now, Kronos Workforce Ready

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material

Pay Details: $30.00 to $34.00 per hour
