Raytheon is seeking a Logistics Supervisor for the 1st shift receiving team. The supervisor will lead a team of not less than 10 employees in a fast-paced facility where daily priorities can shift quickly, however there is always a continued focus on achieving objectives to meet organizational goals.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Workforce planning, forecasting, and making related hiring decisions.

• Facilitate training of new employees and regular performance reviews and management.

• Promote a safe work environment through ongoing team training sessions, engage in safety improvement discussions and lead change initiatives.

• Daily interaction with cross-business teams to review metrics to organizational goals through both formal and informal meetings.

• Identify opportunities to positively impact cost, quality, delivery, and safety goals using six sigma and lean methodologies.

• Support deployment of logistics operations strategy, control systems, tools, and metrics to accurately measure progress, identify root causes of failure modes, production capacity, quality and staffing issues and develop/implement corrective action plans.

• Measure and maintain key performance metrics.

• Manage warehouse workflow while addressing aging work.

• Obtain APICS certification within first year of employment.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

  Required Experience:

• Experience working in a production, manufacturing and/or logistics environment.

• Utilizing business systems and tools that aid in managing labor, processes, and budgets.

• Employee management activities such as work/shift scheduling, coaching, performance reviews and/or interviewing/hiring.

• Microsoft office use

Desired Qualifications:

• Current APICS certification.

• Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts.

• Aerospace and defense industry experience.

Education:

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
