Raytheon has an opportunity to join the Mission Components (MC) Factory as the Continuous Improvement Specialist. The Continuous Improvement Lead is responsible for leading projects which optimize cost, quality, and schedule requirements of the MC manufacturing area. Projects which require support include, but are not limited to, infrastructure facility planning to introduce high-volume automation equipment, process flow optimization, equipment property management, and driving the modernization of tiered communication across functions to ensure effective collaboration and communication to meet the needs of the business. The Specialist will also be responsible for driving continuous improvement projects through collaboration with manufacturing engineering, test engineering, quality engineering, and operations, while utilizing CORE principles. The Continuous Improvement Specialist will report directly to the Factory Operations Manager and will have the opportunity to participate in key leadership engagements to support the requirements of this role.
What You Will Do
Become a CORE Champion and facilitate CORE engagements and events
Facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams in daily morning meetings utilizing latest technologies
Calibration champion managing over 5,000 pieces of equipment
Safety and or continuous improvement initiatives
Drive area re-layouts to best support the current product portfolio
Manage office supply inventory within budget constraints
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and 5 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree and 3 years of relevant experience.
Experience in Manufacturing, Program/Project management, Engineering, or Operations.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
