Job Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Marketing Strategy and Communications, and working closely with all program personnel, the Recruitment and CRM Project Manager will be responsible for meeting department enrollment goals through student recruitment, data analysis, and CRM project management for the Isenberg Graduate and Professional Programs portfolio of programs. This portfolio of programs, including the Isenberg MBA, specialized master’s degrees, and graduate certificates, are designed with the flexibility to meet students where they are. The Recruitment and CRM Project Manager will provide digital marketing support to manage the collection and organization of accurate data regarding the new student enrollment process for graduate students; analyze the data and make data-driven decisions, providing necessary data for academic program directors to aid in the decision process. Additionally, this individual will function as CRM project manager for new student recruitment and enrollment initiatives.

Essential Functions

  • CRM Project Management:

  • Help identify project needs, requirements and parameters. Assist in creating detailed project plans/schedules and timelines, assist with securing resources necessary to complete tasks as needed, and help drive progress towards goal of creating high-quality, timely deliverables.

  • Function as liaison between Isenberg Graduate Program Office end users and marketing/IT departments, collaborating with program directors for the execution of complex CRM projects.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact to whom all questions/issues/concerns about the project should be referred.

  • Resolve any issues and solves problems throughout the project life cycle.

  • Responsible for data quality and accurate documentation as both are critical to support rankings and enhance customer service.

  • Supervise MBA Fellows and student workers who provide support for CRM projects.

  • Data Analysis and Ongoing Strategy Development:

  • Collect and report on data that offers insight into successes, challenges, and potential adaptations to recruitment strategies.

  • Analyze effectiveness of recruitment, marketing, and enrollment strategies for a portfolio of graduate programs and work with the Director of Marketing Strategy and Communications to adjust, refine and revise strategies as needed.

  • Recommend effective communication strategies.

  • Assist with ongoing enhancement of lead management and recruitment functions in CRM.

  • Student Recruitment Lead and Prospective Student Conversion:

  • Lead recruitment efforts for the on-campus MBA and dual degrees, including coordination with host departments for the dual degrees. Participate in admission interviews and information sessions, and provide assessments of applicants to the Director of the Full-time MBA.

  • Actively pursue and convert qualified leads to applicants by providing accurate and timely information regarding program options and admissions.

  • Assist in the planning of and participate in recruitment activities in order to identify and attract best-fit candidates for the Isenberg Graduate and Professional Programs portfolio of programs.

    Other Functions

  • May assist the Director of the Full-time MBA program with admission interviews.

  • Perform related duties as assigned or required to meet department, executive area/division, and university goats and objectives.

  • Understand responsibilities with respect to Title IX, Clery and other compliance requirements.

  • Work collaboratively with other campus stakeholders to fulfill the mission of Student Affairs and Campus Life.

  • Demonstrate capacity, skill and willingness to engage students and contribute to student success.

    Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure)

  • Bachelor’s Degree.

  • Two (2) years of project management experience.

  • Experience working in a team oriented, collaborative environment.

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex projects.

  • Excellent communications, leadership, problem solving, and analytical skills.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to effectively influence stakeholders of various levels including students, faculty, and staff.

  • Knowledge and full understanding of the student lifecycle and lead management best practices.

  • High technical aptitude including the ability to use computer-based registration and academic records technology (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Email, virtual meeting software packages, appointment calendaring system, etc.).

    Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure)

  • Experience working with an enterprise CRM such as Salesforce and Marketing Cloud.

  • Experience with Spire.

  • Experience creating reports based on metrics and analysis.

    Physical Demands/Working Conditions

  • Typical office environment.

    Work Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours/week.

  • Required to work some nights and weekends.

  • This position has the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule, which is defined by the University as an arrangement where an employee’s work is regularly performed at a location other than the campus workspace for a portion of the week. As this position falls within the Professional Staff Union, it is subject to the terms and conditions of the Professional Staff Union collective bargaining agreement.
