AMHERST \$1,500 SIGN ON BONUS Family Support Advocate We are looking for a DSP worker to join our Agency with Choice program. AWC is a person-centered program which allows participants to craft their own customized Day Program. We are seeking an engaging individual who will provide community support, job coaching, and life skills tutoring in the Amherst area for 30 hours per week for a young man with disabilities. Learn more at http://ucpwma.org Family Support Advocate Requirements At least 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent One year of human service work experience or six months work experience in a human service field with life experience with individuals with disabilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to use a computer to enter case notes; communicate by email, etc. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Be able to handle emergency situations Have certification in CPR/First Aid or ability to be certified Valid driver\'s license, acceptable driving record, availability of private vehicle, up-to-date car insurance CORI, SORI, DPPC and National Fingerprint Check Family Support Advocate Benefits Medical, dental and vision insurance after first month of employment Earn two weeks vacation in first year of employment, three week rate after first year Three personal days per year Earn up to seven sick days per year 403(b) retirement program with company match after one year Mileage reimbursement Tuition remission program Employee referral program and more!
