Description We are seeking a meticulous Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Amesbury, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be required to manage data by entering transactions and maintaining precise records. This role is critical to the smooth operation of our business, as you will be handling sensitive customer data and ensuring its accuracy. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Enter transactions into QuickBooks efficiently and accurately.

• Perform basic data entry tasks with a high attention to detail.

• Monitor customer accounts and execute appropriate actions when necessary.

• Process customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Maintain precise records of all customer credit data.

• Resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts and data.

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure all data entry tasks are completed on time.

• Utilize 'Computer Data Entry' skills to maintain and update the database.

• Adhere to all data privacy rules and regulations during the execution of duties.

• Continuously update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities. Requirements • Must possess at least one year of relevant work experience in a similar role.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.

• Demonstrable skills in Computer Data Entry are essential.

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

• Basic knowledge and understanding of clerical procedures and systems.

• Capable of completing tasks in a timely manner.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Good organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
