Position Overview OMG currently operates in two Divisions: OMG Roofing Products and FastenMaster?. OMG Roofing Products is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of value-added components for the commercial roofing industry. The FastenMaster Division manufactures and markets innovative, premium quality wood-to-wood fasteners that are engineered to enable professional contractors to complete building projects safer, faster, and easier. OMG?s Roofing Products division delivers products and services that improve contractor productivity and enhance roofing system performance. The Technical Service Representative maintains a professional and satisfied relationship with customers by providing rooftop support, equipment maintenance, product and service troubleshooting, education regarding the features and benefits of applications and tools. The Technical Service Representative demonstrates products to contractors on the rooftop, provides testing and measurement services to code officials, resolves issues related to product application and tool use, sells products related to maintaining equipment, and provides customer training. This is an outdoor position that requires extensive traveling to job sites. The Technical Service Representative achieves success using in-depth product knowledge, excellent communication and relationship building skills, good problem solving skills and strong time management. Prior sales experience preferred (experience with construction products a plus). Ability to travel extensively within the territory, including overnight Ability to prioritize work assignments, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines with a high degree of quality and accuracy. Tool dexterity, mechanical skills and ability to demonstrate and repair tools and Excellent communication skills (written and oral). Ability to represent the Company in a positive and professional PC skills including experience with MS Office Suite (Excel).
