Aerotek Stamping Operator in Agawam, Massachusetts

Looking for a mechanically inclined candidate for a Stamping Operator role!

Looking for first, second, and third shift operators!

Starting pay is $17.25 but varies with shift differential.

Pay raise when permanent!


Must Haves:

1.Mechanical Aptitude 6+ months exp.

2.Proven Attendance verified from reference.

  1. Lifting up to 50lbs

  2. Oil Change

  3. Minor PM work

The candidate will be producing metal plates that assist with holding the screws in place after being drilled into a roof or deck. They will be unloading and loading the machine. They will remove finished product and take it to the next staging area. This machine stamps the actual head of the screw. They must lift up to 50lbs. Must be able to stand on their feet all day.

Other Tasks: The candidate must be willing and able to sweep, clean, mop, pack, unpack, move raw material, remove finished product from bins, oil changes and other fluid changes to machine, monitor machine but not touch while operator is on break.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must have High School or equivalent and must be able to complete a math and mechanical aptitude test.
