Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in monthly financial close operations, including account analysis and reconciliation, journal entry review and posting, and variance analysis.

• Assist in the cost accounting and validate/update all costing, routings, and BOMs

• Assists the Controller and Plant Manager for annual physical inventory and weekly cycle count

• Prepare daily, weekly & monthly operational reports analyzing material, labor and overhead efficiency and productivity costs in comparison to plan

• Coordinate audit activities including preparation and provision of necessary financial documents and information

• Verify and complete payment of invoices associated with accounts payable

• Assist in accounts payable and receivable reconciliation

• Accurately process biweekly payroll

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.

• 4+ years of experience as an accountant, within a manufacturing organization.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced Excel, and experience with Accounting software.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
