Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for running and maintaining an automated screw machine. Duties include loading and unloading the machine with raw materials, setting up the machine, and inspecting finished products before sending them to the next workstation. Routine maintenance, such as oil and coolant changes, is also required.

Responsibilities

• Run and maintain an automated screw machine

• Load and unload raw materials

• Set up the machine

• Inspect finished products before sending them to the next workstation

• Perform routine maintenance, including oil and coolant changes

• Sweep, clean, and mop the work area

• Pack and unpack materials

• Move raw materials and finished products

• Monitor the machine while the operator is on break (without operating it)

Essential Skills

• Loading and unloading materials

• Sweeping, mopping, and cleaning

• Performing oil changes and fluid changes

• Monitoring machine operations

• Machine operation

• Hand tool usage

• Mechanical aptitude

• Reading blueprints

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Ability to complete a math and mechanical aptitude test

Monday-Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $19.00
